Using SpinaPick as a transparent OBS overlay
SpinaPick can be used directly in OBS Studio as a transparent Browser Source. This provides the cleanest visual result and allows the wheel to be placed freely anywhere on your stream.
Step 1 — Prepare your wheel
- Open the main SpinaPick page.
- Enter your list (one item per line).
- Optionally set a title.
- Enable Remove after win if desired.
When ready, click Copy link. This creates a shareable URL that preserves your list and settings.
Step 2 — Create the OBS overlay link
Append the following parameters to the copied link:
-
&obs=1
Enables OBS mode (hides header, input panel, and footer). -
&ui=0or&ui=1
ui=0: Clean overlay with no on-screen controls
ui=1: Shows spin and fullscreen controls
Example
https://spinapick.com/?list=...&title=Giveaway&ar=1
&obs=1&ui=0
Step 3 — Add to OBS
- Open OBS Studio.
- Add a new Browser Source.
- Paste the prepared URL into the URL field.
- Set Width / Height to match your canvas (e.g. 1920×1080).
- Place the Browser Source above your background or video source.
The wheel uses real transparency, so anything placed behind the Browser Source will remain visible. No chroma key or color filtering is required.
Controls in OBS
- Clicking the wheel starts a spin.
- When using ui=1, on-screen buttons are also available.
- Wheel sounds can be captured via Control audio via OBS.
Tips
- You can prepare multiple wheels and save different OBS links.
- The wheel runs entirely in the browser — no login required.
- Transparency-based overlays look best with shadows and animations.
